If lifelong learning occurs at different times in our life, lifewide learning occurs in different spaces simultaneously. Lifewide education integrates formal education with individuals' attempts to develop themselves through their  experiences.

Every day we inhabit many different spaces. In these spaces we develop relationships, encounter different sorts of challenges, seize or miss opportunities, aspire to live a useful, productive and fulfilled life and seek to achieve our ambitions

Through a programme of scholarship, research, consultancy and support we seek to demonstrate the value and relevance of a lifewide concept of learning, education and personal development in the world of education, work and everyday living.

The Lifewide Education Community Interest Company is a social enterprise. It supports a community of people who see the value in lifewide education.

With our members we seek to explore the value and relevance of a more complete, lifewide education in a complex, culturally diverse but interconnected world.

Our vision for a better world is captured in the words of Eduard Lindeman, 'the whole of life is learning therefore education can have no ending.'
