Lifewide Development Award Pilot

The Lifewide Education team has developed a proposal for a Lifewide Development Award  that will address the growing need to view learning and development as self-determined, self-directed and self-organised activities which stretch across (lifewide) and throughout (lifelong) an individual's lifespan. The scheme will enable learners to demonstrate how and why they are learning and developing themselves through their own experiences and to receive recognition for their commitment and capability as lifewide learners. It will provide opportunities for members of the community to help lifewide learners enrolled on the scheme. We are hoping to pilot the scheme from July 2012.
