About

We are a community of interest formed around the ideas and educational practices that promote and support lifewide learning and personal development. The Community is supported by the Lifewide Education Community Interest Company, which provides encouragement and practical help to individuals and organisations who want to adopt, adapt and implement the idea of lifewide learning and education. The social enterprise was formed in August 2011 to promote the ideas of lifewide learning and lifewide education developed by the Surrey Centre for Excellence in Professional Training (SCEPTrE) at the University of Surrey, which ceased to exist in April 2011. The organisation is run by a small band of volunteers - Norman Jackson (Director), Jenny Willis, Russ Law, Brian Cooper, Nicholas Bowskill, John Cowan supported by other volunteers and advisers.
